It's great to be a part of Cornerstone Baptist Church, and the great city of Decatur, Texas!   My wife (Laura) and I moved here from Cheney, Kansas.   I pastored there for twelve years, but felt like it was time for me to make a move.   I grew up in Orlando, Florida, and came to Texas to go to Bible College.   Over the last several years, I've served the Lord in Azle Baptist Church (Azle, Texas), Orlando Baptist Temple (Orlando, Florida), Fellowship Baptist Church (Orlando, Florida), and Cheney Baptist Church (Cheney, Kansas).     My only concern about making this move is this - what's up with all this COLD WEATHER?...I thought I left all of that in Kansas!

My first official Sunday was Jan.3rd, and folks in the church are starting to get excited!   I've hit the ground running, and our new buzz phrase is "Hang On!"   God has blessed us with folks getting baptized and joining, and with continued growth.   It's amazing what can happen when we allow God to work in our hearts and lives.

I want to take a moment and personally invite you to one of our Sunday Morning services.   They start at 10:45 with a blended style of music, followed by dynamic preaching to help you live life to God's fullest in 2010.   We will be having FRIEND DAY on January 31st; why not come and be our friend on that day.   I hope to see you soon...
